Affliction Horror Film Festival is a unique event combining the experiences of a film festival and Halloween/costume party. All are encouraged to submit a film or simply attend. Film submission does not guarantee entry. Tickets are required for entry. Must be 21+ to enter.

Please note- Films specifically made for AHFF or films with filmmakers intending on attending the event in person will be PRIORITIZED in the selection process.

Awards & Prizes

Audience awards only: Best Picture, Funniest Picture, Scariest Picture

Winners will be awarded a trophy and a laurel.

Rules & Terms

-All films must be submitted in English or with English subtitles

-Films must be 5 minutes or less to qualify

-Films must be of horror genre or horror sub-genre

-Filmmakers are responsible for sorting out the copyright on their own materials

-By submitting to us, you give us the right to screen your film in front of a live audience and online, including our YouTube account

-We may promote clips or stills of your film on social media following its screening
