In his second directorial effort after his previous music short, "All Consuming Fire," Christian tells a tale of love and career, and the compromises one faces while climbing the ladder to stardom in "A Song For You."
Born in New York City, he embarked on a career as an actor and singer with minor roles in film and TV before he came to Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking full-time, and also established himself as a recording artist with an EP of the same title.
It is with pride that we made a film first as a vehicle for the Leon Russell song, "A Song For You" which has never been done, but also with a storyline that is a love story depicting a man's love for his partner. It is our hope that the message will touch people while also doing the song justice in this interpretation of an all-time classic.
On the surface, "A Song For You" (the short film) seems subtle in its intent. But a closer look reveals something more powerful for modern music video history.
