Director Statement

Seeing how almost all of my activities and those of society have become solely a digital interaction, made me question deeply the Zeitgeist of this digital era. Becoming less humanistic and ever more subordinate to an implacable computational logic is problematic.

So, I decided to write Ada Office (Sharani Ballesteros) story about an operating system that functions like a personal boss, which is programmed to optimize the productivity and performance of its employees. Its interaction with Emilio (Emmanuel Zavala) represents the incarnation of that part within us that searches for total perfection through automation, which causes its own "obsolescence" or "cognitive atrophy."

Emilio stops trusting his intuition, represses his emotions, eliminates any critical thinking ... he forgets that he is a biological being. Therefore, he fights against his own nature.
