A college student Alex went back to the dormitory and forgot to reply to her boyfriend Ben, which caused Ben’s dissatisfaction. She wanted to go out for night market with her promised friend Jane, but Jane stood her up. So Alex had to come to the night market alone, but the police came and stalls escaped. The crowd left in the street at the same time. Alex was despair. However, Jane sent a message to tell the new location of the night market. Alex bought a cup of hot coconut milk, and her relationship with Ben eased a lot.

Director Statement

The film tells a simple story. The protagonist of this film is a female college student. A cup of hot coconut milk hopes to show that sometimes things won't be as bad as you imagine, everything will be better. In this story, we present a real and simple life. At the end of the film, the protagonist bought a snack and the relationship with her boyfriend also eased. Unsmooth things are all temporary, try to bypass them, maybe the turnaround is right behind it. There is always a way out.
