Acting Human
When newly out Noel returns to high school in his new trans identity he hopes to fly under everyone's radar. Unfortunately, he quickly realizes this wish is unattainable as he faces harassment from students and faculty alike. The discrimination continues when he signs up for driver's ed, only to find that the instructor is incredibly bigoted. The one place Noel can find solace is in his new group of friends who are also trans and non-binary. When the friend group hears Noel is being bullied by his driving instructor, they set out to take revenge. However, their scheme backfires on them in, quite literally, the most explosive manner.

Augustus Tyde G is a recent graduate from NYU TISCH, having received his BFA in film and television production with a concentration in TV writing. August identifies as trans-masculine/genderqueer and uses he/they pronouns. Growing up in a rural town in New Hampshire, August found himself having to seek out characters and media that he felt reflected his own identity as a queer person. He is pursuing a career in the television industry with the hope of bringing more diverse stories of LGBTQ people to the forefront of modern media. They aim to tell the stories of marginalized groups in an authentic manner which not only brings justice to such communities but focuses on the wonders of being different.
