Director Statement

Inspired by the ongoing complications of the global pandemics, we sought out for two individuals who are temporary visa holders in Australia and interviewed them about their life away from home. Coincidentally, their stories revolve around the theme of separation and distanced, similar to a famous Chinese folktale by the name of The Cowherd and The Weaver Girl, a beautifully melancholic piece of poetry that tells the story of a separated couple. We hope you enjoy our attempt to incorporate classic literature with reality.
