The city that cries red tears
Kryvyi Rih is the largest metallurgical centre in Ukraine, torn by internal conflicts for generations. One of its residents is Yuri, a legendary union leader who led the biggest mining strikes in Ukraine just before the war broke out. When the first rockets hit the city, Yuri is faced with the dilemma of whether and how to defend the world he previously fought against. This is a story of fear, loss and confusion, but also forgiveness, love and endless hope that a new, equal society will be born on the post-war ruins.

“Man and the Machine”
The working man did not die. On the outskirts of cities, out of sight of people living in the centers, enormous warehouses bring together masses of workers. It is not technology but their muscle power that is the main driving force of production. The film shows extraordinary, dance like spectacle, every day performed by working class.
