Achuth Giri is a filmmaker based in Kerala, India. He is the co-founder of the media company DDX Studios. He is also a music composer, video editor, animator & graphic designer. He completed Bachelor of Arts Animation and Graphic Design in the year 2017. He loves to explore different genres for each of his short films ranging from complex science fiction, psychological thrillers to feel-good dramas and thought-provoking animated shorts.
Achuth Giri and his friends started their journey by creating low budget short films from when they were 17 years old (2014). As their short films started getting recognition and achievements at several renowned film festivals, they used this attention to obtain clients for advertisement film works. Their initial clients were big names like Doordarshan Kendra & Kerala Tourism.
Achuth Giri is also an active assistant director in Malayalam Film Industry. He has worked under the renowned Malayalam filmmaker Lal Jose. He is currently working on a feature film project with his friends, which is written and directed by himself.
