The Access Contest was founded with the express goal of discovering new talent and connecting those emerging writers with Industry decision makers.

We are seeking unproduced material from writers across the globe in the following categories: feature film, television pilot, web series, and short film.

So how do we do it? Our process is similar to that of the studio system. Our team of experienced readers will grade your submission based on the same criteria used by studios, production companies, and Industry Execs. From there scripts are organized based on their scores, with top submissions receiving an additional read from our panel of judges.

Your talent is all you need to succeed, but it won’t get you far if it hasn’t been seen. Our years of experience and Industry access can connect you with the Industry greats who can skyrocket your career.

I may be biased, as a finalist, but I recommend this contest. I have entered many in the last few years, but this one did better than most. Notification came as advertised, and only two months after submission. The prizes ( a package of educational webinars, chosen by me from a long list of good quality sessions; and a good pitching opportunity) were welcome and useful. As a contest, rather than a festival, the categories of Hospitality and Networking don't apply, so I have left them ungraded.
    I'd enter again.
