Acceptables
The system of checks and balances no longer exists, as a dictator rises to power and changes the complete landscape of America. The emperor has no clothes, but no one will tell him, so life becomes more dangerous for those who are not deemed acceptable.

Michele's first screenplay, "Getting Over" which wrapped in September 2017 has gone on to win several awards, both the film itself and her as an actress. Michele wrote Acceptables because she thoroughly enjoyed the filmmaking process and still has much to say.
Acceptables is a commentary on our social and political climate today. Things feel shaky and out of control. If we continue to allow such instability, there is no limit to the inhumanity and revocation of our freedoms.
