Acasă
The film tells the story of my father who from Romania came to Italy in 1996. It opens with the story of the house that in Italy welcomed him and then becomes the place where he remembers the journey that brought him there. The protagonist then begins to introduce his old home in Romania, which he had to leave. The narrative alternates between the narration of the journey that brought him to Italy, and the narration of the old house, bringing the conclusion to a narrative climax that is accompanied by a Romanian folk song.

Riuso di classe
Rebecca Grigore was born and lives in Padua (2000), is currently attending the three-year degree course in Visual-Multimedia Arts at the IUAV University of Venice. During the course she discovered a passion for videomaking and home movies that led to the realisation of a first short film, 'Acasă' (2022), which hybridises these two interests.
