Michael Williams is a director from England who has been creating video content in Japan since 2017. His first major project - One Step - had its festival run in 2018, culminating in 16 festivals. During that run it won multiple awards including Best Drama and Best Short.
Since then he has been a director and editor for multiple TV and film projects, such as the comedy/drama series The Benza and travel documentary Getting Dirty in Japan. In 2023 he co-directed and edited the drama feature film Aichaku, which is currently applying for film festivals.
