Absent Ties

In a remote Indian village marked by linguistic and social divides, two marginalized immigrant women, Kamla(38) and Aasa (22), are thrust into survival mode after their husbands are imprisoned. Struggling against discrimination, language barriers, and systemic oppression, the duo forms an unlikely bond while working at a hostile construction site. A chance encounter with a touring foreign photographer, provides a moment of empowerment as he bridges their communication gap using a translator.
