Abisola Aboaba is an award-winning creative professional and film producer. He is a 2021 recipient of the New York Film Academy scholarship award and the best graduating and top-performing student of the Multichoice Talent Factory West Africa Academy Class of 2020. Also, a producer of the multiple award-winning short film project titled Bride Untangled now on Showmax that won the best student short film at the 2021 Africa International Film Festival and Inside Nollywood International Film festival and was a nominee in the best student short film category of the 2022 Africa Magic Viewership Choice Awards. A participant in the 2022 Durban film Institute Business Lab for producers and 2022 Cinephilia workroom and advanced Lab fellow for writers. I produced, wrote, starred, and directed the art-house and experimental silent short film Full and Free. That screened at film festivals such as the 38th edition of the Canadian Screen Award Qualifying International Film Festival international de cinema Vues d'Afrique and the inaugural editions of the Annual film mischief, Rendacon animation, visual effects film festival, and the 2022 First time filmmaker sessions. I was a finalist in the animation category of the 3rd edition of the Digital lab Africa competition. For a stop-frame film concept titled Herbbeings The Mind Tea Leaf, I created. I produced a Showmax original feature film titled Tejiri that will launch in 2023. I have written, directed, and produced promotional, short, and micro-documentary films for companies like the Multichoice group, the New York Film Academy, and the United Nations.
