Abhishek Sinha Rasik was born in Bhopal, India. During his childhood, living in his own world, inside his mind, he would get occasional scolding from his father when he would draw Indian superheroes (especially Super Commando Dhruv) on his Math's textbooks. Later in life, he started his career in IT sector following the ‘herd’ of his time, but unsatisfied with his life, he later moved to Canada in 2009.

He pursued higher studies there, worked in finance field, and only when career and money seemed not a problem, he realized that, actually, the ‘real’ problem is the unsatiated thirst of his inner creative soul which yearns to bring his imaginations & stories to real life. He took courses in film making from Raindance, Toronto and as he started working in the creative field, he soon realized that this was his calling in life.
It was a very tough decision but driven by ‘YOLO’ and helped by a mix of passion/ intuition/ divine intervention, he decided to leave everything behind and follow his heart like a best friend.

He returned to India in 2017 and established a production house in the name of GodMother International Pvt Ltd. In the field of creativity, he focused specifically on story conception, writing and film direction. Instinctively driven by the genres of horror and mystery, he made a few short films which got good reviews from audience. “Who Killed Gaurav?” is his debut feature film. The movie is inspired by world famous ghost hunter, Gaurav Tiwari, who himself left a settled career to follow his life passion of ghost hunting but had a very mysterious and unexplained death. The story has been rewritten and fictionalized for creative expression. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Abhishek was guided by forces beyond this world on his journey to finish this mind twisting movie, and while watching the movie, audience will be taken on a ride that may change their perspective on life itself.
