I started as a theater actor moving on to learn film making after getting influenced by Polish & Bengali Cinema. I went on to work as Assistant Director on major Indian films (Bollywood) for over 12 years. I'm not a film school student, but I did get an opportunity to learn basic foundation course in film making for 4 weeks only. For me, cinema is all about reliving and retelling your life experiences through writing stories and capturing it visually by our magical frames. Every story and film should have a director's emotional touch, because he is the only mother & father to his child. Cinema is a very personal involvement for me. It's my happiness. It's my sadness. It's my holiday from daily routine and mundane life. It's my smile to the world and it's my tears to the moviegoers. Cinema is the most painful experience and it's the most satisfying achievement. It's so eternal and surreal experience of an individual's nakedness. Thank you so much, God!
