Abdolrahman Sarraei is a multi award-wining filmmaker.
He is an Iranian-Kurdish Actor, Screenwriter, Film Director, Film Producer and Film editor.
Abdolrahman Sarraei is also the youngest filmmaker in the world who launched his own film festival, Kurdistan International Independent Film Festival, at the age of 23 and has been its president since 2021-present.
Abdolrahman Sarraei gained his first cinematic experience with the short film "Visualization" (2022) while he was in exile, which led to many limitations and difficulties in the filmmaking process. Now he is not able to make his next films with these problems.
He has not been allowed to return to work in Iran since 2019 due to his political activities, which are seen by Iranian officials as collaborating in counter-revolutionary propaganda, And since then he is in exile.
In 2022, Abdolrahman Sarraei, along with his wife Mojo Mona, founded an independent international company called M&R Pictures, which operates in various fields such as production, distribution, and entertainment.
