Abby's Rose
Abby’s Rose explores a story of love as a young man yearns for the heart of his freshly acquainted neighbor throughout the changing seasons. Inspired by the beauty these seasons possess, we watch as both their love and the world around them blossom and develop. Taking place in 1917, this film is the perfect blend of the purity of the era and the irresistible temptation that love always brings.

Connor Hagan is the Writer/Director of Abby’s Rose. At a young age, he began creating short films in his hometown of Newark, Delaware. Wanting to pursue filmmaking as a profession, Connor moved to Savannah, Georgia to attend The Savannah College of Art and Design. Since 2016, Connor has gained hands-on experience working professionally on over eight feature films including, Lizzie and Disney’s Lady and the Tramp.
Abby’s Rose is a study on love, its patience and its ability to endure the test of time. Taking place in Historic Savannah, this film presents exquisite production design, an elegant cast, and a seducing score. My goal is to tell a story that is timeless and unites all ages as love is indeed a universal concept. As an artist, this film allows not only myself but the entire team to explore the 1900s, an era that has ultimately become a character within itself. Having no dialogue, Abby’s Rose has given me an opportunity to challenge myself to tell a story through visuals, character movement, and sound. A large endeavor, but mostly a passion project, my team and I are so excited to bring to life Abby’s Rose and are grateful for your support in making this possible.
