Abby

"Abby" is a gripping psychological thriller that plunges into the fractured mind of a convicted murderer with multiple personalities. As Dr. Shaw interrogates her, Abby weaves eerie stories from her past—of child abuse and neglect, and the harming a bird that wouldn’t show her love and attention. But beneath her twisted tales lies something far more disturbing: the possibility that Abby herself doesn’t know which part of her is truly responsible for the killings.
Is she a ruthless predator, fully aware of her actions? Or is one of her hidden personalities—the ones lurking just beneath the surface—pulling the strings? As the Doctor digs deeper, reality bends, and the truth becomes a shifting, dangerous illusion. In a battle of wits and wills, Shaw must uncover which version of Abby is the real threat... before it’s too late."

Director Statement

From the moment I conceived ABBY, I knew this wouldn’t be just another psychological thriller—it would be an exploration of identity, trauma, and the blurred lines between good and evil. This film is not simply about a murderer; it’s about a fractured mind, a soul caught between multiple realities, and the terrifying question of whether Abby is a victim of her own psyche or a master manipulator playing the ultimate game.
What drew me to this story was the complexity of the human mind—how trauma can splinter a person into different versions of themselves, some innocent, some monstrous. With ABBY, I want to take the audience on a disorienting journey, one where they’re never quite sure what’s real, who to trust, or which version of Abby is telling the truth. The interrogation room becomes more than a setting—it’s a battlefield of psychological warfare between detective and suspect, sanity and madness.
Visually, I want to create a haunting atmosphere that mirrors Abby’s fractured psyche—harsh lighting, shadows that seem to move on their own, subtle shifts in tone and perspective that make the audience question everything. Sound design will play a crucial role as well, with whispers, distortions, and eerie silences that pull viewers deeper into Abby’s unraveling mind.
At its core, ABBY is about control—who has it, who loses it, and what happens when the mind becomes its own worst enemy. It’s a film that will leave audiences questioning not just Abby’s reality, but their own perceptions of truth and identity.
I am beyond excited to bring this unsettling, thought-provoking vision to life, and I can’t wait for audiences to step into Abby’s world—where nothing is what it seems.
