Costa Rican screenwriter and director. Currently studying feature screenwriting at Sundance Collab and a Film Studies Master's at University of Costa Rica. His mid-length film Until Dawn Comes has won an Honorable Mention at the 2018 National Culture Awards, received the Audience Award in the Made in CR selection of the shnit Film Festival, won the 33rd Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival student competition, a special prize at Sao Paulo’s Latin American Film festival and best Road Movie of the 11 SFAFF in Chile.
This film was selected at the 40th Havana Film Festival, Cuba, the 14th Early Bird Student Film Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria, the 5th Lyons International Film Festival in Colorado, the 5th Panalandia Film Festival in Panama, 10th Ciclo of Central American Cinema in Vienna, Austria and New Filmmakers L.A. His short film Tango Noir, was shown by Cinefilia Tanguera in Europe, Asia and South America and was awarded the Surreal Dream Award at the LANEFF 2014. The previous short film, Mara María Mar was shown at festivals in Latin America and He was part of the official selection of CRFIC 2013. Producer and Assistant Director in several documentary films in Costa Rica and Spain.
