James Houghton is an 18 year old kid who loves films and wants to make them. A Wriggle In Time is his first and currently only film project, and James is attending RMIT for Creative Writing in hopes to pursue screenwriting and make more films in the future.
This was made as part of a school project and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I aimed to explore the dangers of nihilism as actions without consequences and how young people are prone to nihilism when nothing they do seems to matter much. The actors are all my family or friends, and the song used through the film was written and performed by my sister's band, The Hatebugs. They all did an incredible job and I couldn't have made this without their help, as well as the help from my parents and teachers. I hope you enjoy my film!
