In this film, you meet the eyes of those bereaved by India’s deadly Covid second wave in rural Bihar. The CPIML Liberation’s survey of villages in 13 districts in Bihar is the first to take a close look at the havoc wrought by the pandemic in rural India, far from media cameras. The voices of the Covid bereaved call the bluff of governments that are shamelessly denying that oxygen shortages caused deaths; and admitting only to a fraction of the real scale of Covid deaths.
