Brenda is a college administrator, eternal student, hobby photographer, and mom to four snarky and wonderful children. Passionately curious with a lighthearted sense of humor, she has long found that wandering in nature has been healing to her soul and an avenue that led to her inner mind. She is grateful that nature reclaims, in a beautiful way, those things that mankind abandons and hopes that she captures a little of this miracle for others to see in her photographs.
"A walk on a spring morning is better than an eighty-mile ride in a hopped-up car, you know why? Because it’s full of flavors, full of a lot of things growing. You’ve time to seek and find." This quote was written by Ray Bradbury in his wonderful novel Dandelion Wine and perfectly captures the Sunday morning that this photograph was taken. When I came upon this enchanting door wearing a crown of green, I felt as if it must be a portal to somewhere strange and beautiful.
