But this word that we so carelessly use is very different from clinical depression - a serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, think and act. During this time where we are compelled to stay at home, isolated from the rest of the society to ensure the safety of our physical health, it’s important to recognise that it’s taking a major toll on our mental health as well, especially to those who are already suffering from an existing psychological disorder.*

Being a prisoner of your thoughts can be extremely overwhelming to cope with and is easily misunderstood by others. So, instead of hearing, looking and passing by - listen, see and observe. Not every smile carries joy and not every voice is heard. And remember, while a ‘Post-COVID’ phase will begin in the near future, not everyone will have the strength to make it through another day.

Director Biography - Keshini Dunusinghe

Keshini Dunusinghe is a young and energetic mind who has been a storyteller from the time she could speak. Her mind is unique and in 2018 she dove into a path of creativity professionally, exploring the world of production, advertising and magazines. Within a short period of time, she joined forces with 3 other creative minds to form Tribal Lanka. This is a startup creative house located in the suburbs of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Together, Tribal Lanka, is not only a creative house to their own clients, also they are focused on their very own creative projects which are all to connect with their audiences around the world as well as touch on topics which Tribal Lanka are passionate about.

Keshini's dream is to become a film director and Tribal Lanka supports her in this vision. Her mind, her soul and her energy is everlasting, and our support it never ending.
