AUM From Afar
AUM From Afar is a hand-drawn short animation about a man stuck between two dimensions, in one of which he embodies his daily life, while in the other, he embodies animals of an unknown desert as a comet makes contact with the earth.

My name is Chloe Tempestini. Due to many moves, I have never been able to put down roots in one place. It is in art that I cultivate my home.
The making of this film started while I was still living in Canada. One of my closest friends and, in our spare time collaborators, told me about one of his dream, a man in a desert devoted to himself. We had a couple of long conversations about a possible feature film introducing this caveman in a contemporary city. I composed a storyboard which I sent to him. This project remains on hold for a few months. As I moved from Canada to Ireland, I fell back on these few frames I had drawn and started to continue this animation by giving it a new direction, Aum From Afar.
