A Trip to the Store

Kevin is your average creative writing student but with a big secret. He lives with a physical persona of his crippling social anxiety. One day, after discovering he has ran out of food in his fridge, he sets off to journey to the one place he would never dream of going to. The shops. When him and Anxiety reach the store, with only ten minutes til closing, they bump into Kevin’s crush, Jacob. What could’ve been an absolute disaster ended up being a much needed interaction, hence boosting Kevin’s confidence and Anxiety’s rage. After getting back from the shops, Anxiety confronts Kevin, reminding him of all the times his past relationships have failed and how he will never be loved. Instead of taking this like he always did, Kevin finally stands up to Anxiety, causing them to disappear, but only for a moment or two. Once Kevin sets up a date with Jacob, Anxiety comes back to torment him once more.
