A Transistor
The story is revolved around a family of three people. Sita is always furious at Rajesh, her husband, for wasting all of his time in watching cricket matches with his jobless friends. Every time this argument happens, it is witnessed by their son, Chintoo.
As we move forward in the storyline, we see Chintoo asking his best friend about a portable device which can be used to see the cricket matches. Later we see Chintoo breaking his piggy bank and collecting all the coins in and buying a pocket radio transistor out of his savings. He brings it home and hides it in his school bag.
In the final few seconds, Chintoo’s mother is seen waiting for Rajesh’s arrival since the hour hand of clock has already passed 9.00 while Chintoo is seen sketching something with crayons.
Door is knocked. It’s Rajesh outside. Something seems different this time. A pocket transistor can be the reason behind it. What exactly is different this time?
Has the device turned out to be Chintoo’s best investment?

I found the habit of writing as something which sparked me up, something which keeps me in sync with everything going around me. It was then, when I added fuel to it by starting to bring these writings of mine to life, embarking on a wonderful curve, my dream of film-making.
My film 'A Transistor', came as a breakthrough and marked the start of it all, giving wings to my aspirations .
I am presently working as an Assistant Director and Writer in an Ad Production House 'Basta Films', since the past year and a half, nourishing my craft of commercial film-making in a better way.
Drama being the center of every human emotion, intimidates me more than any other genre of filmmaking.
