A Thousand Shades of Purnama

Putro Purnama (29) returns to his village after failing to make it in the big city. Determined to start fresh, he dreams of revitalizing his family’s land through natural farming methods. However, his plans are quickly met with resistance when his family’s long-time rival challenges him in a prestigious agricultural competition—a battle that could determine who gains influence over the villagers.

As Purnama fights to prove the value of sustainable farming, his journey becomes even more complicated when he falls for Ratih, the owner of the village’s chemical fertilizer and pesticide store, the daughter of his family’s rival. Caught between his ideals and his feelings, Purnama struggles to bring meaningful change to the community while navigating personal and societal conflicts. His determination to improve the lives of those he loves is tested at every turn, forcing him to confront the deeper costs of his dream.
