I've been behind the camera since I was 9 years old. It started with basic animation with my Lego toys, grew to Star Wars fan films made with my mom's digital camera in elementary school, short films in high school with a camcorder, a feature film with a DSLR after graduation, and now several short films out of Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and Television.
I'm a big fan of the "epic"; huge space battles, firefights, battles to the death, global disasters, etc, but I'm always looking to try other genres, as I've done with The First Date and Tinker Tailor Sorceress Spy.
I'm also an active actor, both in face and voice, appearing in web series and video games for the most part. I do post sound work as well, with an affinity for creating audio drama.
This film was something different for me - the subject matter and the intimacy/vulnerability in the scene was something I've never shot before. It taught me a lot about working with intimate scenes, making the connection real and believable, and most importantly, making sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. A huge hats off to the performers.
