In a small town of Western UP, where the ultimate Bollywood fanatic kids play an interesting game where they enact their favourite actors and film scenes. This game is played in the leadership of ‘Renu’-the self- proclaimed director, and there is intense competition among the other players to act ‘The Hero’ in the game. ‘Dheera’, also known as ‘Ziddi’, for his flawless mimicking of Sunny Deol is desperate to play Hero embarks on an unthinkable journey of finding the lost athanni, a task he’s been assigned by Renu as a pre-condition to play Hero. Renu lost this athanni in Azad Maidaan, that is terribly cluttered with the whole town’s garbage that has been dumped by Nagar Palika.

What lies ahead is an unforgettable journey that takes us through the transformations our characters and the town undergo.

Director Biography - NAMASH BHARDWAJ

Namash Bhardwaj is a theater and film actor who has performed in plays written by a wide variety of playwrights like Dario Fo, Saadat Hasan Manto, Manu Bhandari, Girish Karnad, Neil Simmons, etc. He has also been a part of the rare art form of Dastangoi, various short films and ad films. Currently working under the guidance of Mr Danish Husain for his Repertory "The Hoshruba Repertory." He was a cast member in the play Ek Punjab Ye Bhi which opened at the Prithvi Festival 2015 and also assisted for the same.
