Director Biography - Melisa Eryuksel

Melisa Eryüksel (born January 06, 2000) is a Turkish filmmaker from Istanbul. She moved to London, UK (where she currently lives) in 2018 to attend University of the Arts London. In 2022, she graduated with a BA in Creative Direction. Her first short-documentary Sweet Freedom (Tatlı Özgürlük) focuses on the difference between freedom of expression in Turkey versus the UK. She is currently working on various personal projects, experimenting with directing techniques and style.
