A Stronghold for Nature: Ndoki at 25
Conservation of wildlife requires the active support of local people. Ensuring that families tangibly benefit from the protection of wildlife populations is key to garnering support and building a local constituency for conservation. As the Nouabale-Ndoki National Park in northern Congo celebrates its 25th anniversary, this short film narrated by Park Warden Marcel Ngangoue looks at how the success of the park and the local communities have been inextricably intertwined.
