A Short Film About Food

A man eats like a wild animal. The man seems quite confident about his place in the natural hierarchy for he doesn’t seem to care about the women being bothered by the noises he makes while he eats his meal. For a woman, eating is more like an action that needs to end as soon as possible than an action that she junks. His phone's ringing. The woman looks upon his mobile phone and at long last, decided to do something this man who insults her by his eating. For certain, she has a right to enjoy her meal.

Director Biography - Abdullah Sağlam

He was born in 17 March 1993, Ankara. He started Ankara University – Faculty of Communication, Radio-TV and Cinema in 2013. He get educated on photography at AFSAD (Ankara Photography Artist Society) and joined light in the cinema at FİYAB (Film Producers Association) in that year. In 2014, worked as photographer exhibition about ‘’Refugees in Ankara’’. Then, he worked as gaffer documentary titled ‘’Story of a Building’’. He worked voluntarily at Ankara International Film Festival and Flying Broom Internation Women’s Film Festival in 2015. After 3 years, he worked video filming with Ankara Club Association. In 2019, he joined workshop titled ‘’From Idea to Script’’ at Sinema Adasi. ‘’Geminus’’ and ‘’Sounds of Night’’ took part on official selection in many national and international film festivals. He is studying Yapımlab workshop now.
