The subject of our documentary is Ferhan Şensoy,
A stubborn and productive famous artist who never deviated from the path he walked and never compromised on the values he believed in.
Even though it seems quite far from today's values, it is an enviable characteristic value that a person who sees the time spent without producing as folly, never dulls his pen despite this passion for writing and the bullying he has been through. We can count how many people who are honourable, cannot be bought, do not give up their ideas for their own benefit.

Director Biography - Kaan Baygın

He was born on August 20, 1991 in Istanbul. He completed his primary and secondary education at “50. Yıl Cumhuriyet Feridun Tümer Primary School” and his high school education at “Doğa College”. He studied theater at “Doğa College” and performed plays. He continued to study of acting at “Müjdat Gezen Art Center”. He completed her undergraduate education at “Istanbul Commerce University, Department of Banking and Finance”. After working on finance for a while, he returned to the theater with the play “Deliler”. He studied writing, advanced writing and detective writing at “Erbulak Writing and Acting House”. Afterwards, he graduated from the “Müjdat Gezen Art Center, the Conservatory of Creative Writing”. In 2020, he founded his own theater, “Tiyatro Vaveyla”. He wrote and staged “Shakespeare's Kings” and “My Lie Has Been Broken”. In addition to theater, he worked as a content and story editor for television programs. He joined “BKM Kitchen” infrastructure and wrote sketches and the sketches were shot and published. Currently, he continues to produce actively.

Director Statement

I think we will appreciate the value of master writer and actor Ferhan Şensoy deserved after many years. Even though it seems quite far from today's values, it is an enviable characteristic value that a person who sees the time spent without producing as folly, never dulls his pen despite this passion for writing and the bullying he has been through. We can count how many people who are honourable, cannot be bought, do not give up their ideas for their own benefit. We will know the value of such a great master when the doors of the theater and institutions he founded are about to be abandoned. The struggle of a man dancing with words to awaken this society from its delusions must have been exhausting. While I was creating this film, I saw that a life that was thrown away was fixed with a pen. As he himself wrote, I felt a rebellious pencil. I hope the audience will experience the same pleasure as me.
