A Road to Farewell
Bagaskoro is a family driver who’s now assigned by Ms. Dewi to drive her child to school. Every day during the car ride, Bagaskoro suppresses his anger in dealing with Arya’s behavior as an autistic child. Over time, Bagaskoro slowly begins to accept Arya and sees him as a friend.

Salma Dumadi is an Indonesian film student majoring in directing. Several times directed independent film projects and led creative productions. Her interest in business and filmmaking creates Akara Production, an independent creative production house that founded in 2023.
Salma's first short film is "Noda Biru" (2022) that is now being distribute to film festivals. She also contributed in Akara first film production as an Assistant Director and Editor. Until now, Salma already directed more than 3 short films. To pursue her career as a filmmaker, she continues to challenge herself by making much more slice of life genre with uniqueness and a touch of conceptual films.
A Road to Farewell tells a story about relationship between Bagaskoro, a family driver and Arya, an autistic boy who just got into an ordinary elementary school. Bagaskoro is a father to be. He doesn’t really like to deal with kids, but he has to drive Arya every day to school, until his feelings towards Arya suddenly grew.
In this film, I want to share that there’s always a silver lining in everything that happens in life. We just have to set aside our ego, and positively see the big picture.
