ART SPEAKS OUT on COP 27 - United Nations Climate Change Conference 2022!

ART SPEAKS OUT is a video art festival for our climate organised by ikonoTV, the art-only streaming platform.

We believe that all environmental problems are far too big for each of us, including politicians, to be tackled alone. We need to break them down to create an emotional impact, find quicker and better ways to act for our common positive future, and get inspired for new storytelling.

Have you always wanted to make a difference? Take this chance!

We call international Artists and Content Creators to submit short artistically made environmental films and make an impact on decisionmakers during the supreme decision-making forum on Climate Change.

- Indigenous (as we believe most answers are already known by traditional early cultures)
- Heritage Preservation & Sustainability
- Positive Earth Stories
- Future Environments of Freedom
- Biodiversity Bioculture
- The Language of intelligent Growth
- Cyclical Energy

Playlists with the final works will be shown on multiple screens from 6th to 18th November 2022 in Sharm el-Sheikh, South Sinai, Egypt leading to COP28 in UAE, 2023 and streamed on ikonoTV platform.

Please note, during the COP27 videos will be screened without sound.

Final works will be selected by our team with the help of the guest curators.
Only 16:9/landscape format videos will be accepted as all will be displayed on TV screens. Any project can be submitted such as old or/and new production, excerpt or row footage from a documentary re-edited as contemplative video.

By submitting a video, you accept the Terms & Conditions hereafter.

  • So proud to have been part of the selection of Art speaks out. The choice of films was excellent with an incredible coherence and I felt very close to the other works, in wonderful company.
