Pandemic times. Maya lives a fiercely independent, content life with her mother, earning a living from a job she loves. No one including her mother understands her obsession with the cranky, noisy fan in her room. For her, the noise opens up a doorway of sleep, to her past, her memory. The noise of the fan stops one day, in a seemingly normal way and the film captures her myriad attempts to bring the strange noise back into her life.
