INTRODUCTION

AQUICORTO is promoted by Abbo Production S.R.L., registered office in Via Appia 130 Venticano (AV) operational headquarters In Via Nino Bixio 49 Putignano (BA). The event is curated by Katiuscia Tomei.

PURPOSE OF THE REVIEW

The review, dedicated to the selection of the best short films, aims to support Abruzzo, national and international talents who want to try their hand at the art of filmmaking, expressing their skills and knowledge through the form of short film. The festival aims to showcase the most deserving.

MODE OF SELECTION OF WORKS

Pre-selection by the Examining Board:
The works received will be viewed and pre-selected by an Examining Board, whose judgment will be unquestionable. It will operate independently and following the guidelines of these regulations.
There are five sections in which to participate: International, National, Abruzzi, Environment, No to Violence. Authors born and resident in Abruzzo can only and exclusively participate in the Abruzzi section. The Commission will be made up of the Executive Board of Abbo Production S.R.L. and other experts in the field. It will have the task of making the selection on the basis of both the technique of realization and the mode of expression adopted by the author in dealing with the themes.

SCOPO DELLA RASSEGNA

La rassegna, dedicata alla selezione dei migliori cortometraggi, ha lo scopo di supportare talenti abruzzesi, nazionali e internazionali che vogliano cimentarsi nell’arte cinematografica, esprimendo le loro capacità e le loro conoscenze attraverso la forma del cortometraggio. La rassegna ha lo scopo di vetrina per i più meritevoli.

MODALITÀ DI SELEZIONE DELLE OPERE

Preselezione da parte della Commissione Esaminatrice:

le opere pervenute verranno visionate e preselezionate da una Commissione Esaminatrice, il cui giudizio sarà insindacabile. Essa opererà in modo indipendente e seguendo le indicazioni del presente regolamento.

Le sezioni a cui poter partecipare sono cinque: Internazionale, Nazionale, Abruzzese, Ambiente, No alla violenza. Gli autori nati e residenti in Abruzzo possono partecipare solo ed esclusivamente alla sezione abruzzese. La Commissione sarà costituita dal Direttivo di Abbo Production S.R.L. e da altri esperti del settore. Avrà il compito di procedere alla selezione sia in base alla tecnica di realizzazione, sia alle modalità di espressione adottate dall’autore per la trattazione dei temi.

Rules & Terms

REGULATIONS

Participation in the competition implies acceptance of these regulations in all their points (under penalty of exclusion of the submitted work):
1. The sender, by submitting the work, declares that he/she is the owner of all rights of use of the work itself, none excluded, and that the contents of the work do not violate the laws in force and that the work does not have contents of a defamatory nature. In any case, the sender releases the organization from any liability for the content of the short film screened in public.
2. Submitted works will become part of the archive established for educational/dissemination purposes, which can be used for any cultural events (non-profit).
3. The festival organizers are not responsible for any damage or loss of submitted works.
4. The theme of the short film is free, except for the “environment” themed section and the “no to violence” section.
5. Any genre of short film is accepted: however, video clips, video art, documentaries, erotic shorts, pornographic shorts are excluded.
6. Only authors who are 18 years of age or older are eligible to participate.
7. The following are eligible to participate: works in Italian language and Italian dialects with Italian subtitles and works in foreign languages with Italian subtitles.
8. Each work may have a maximum length of 15'00'' (15 minutes and 0 seconds, meaning including credits and opening credits).
9. Short films not received in the indicated manner will be excluded

11. Should the filmmaker wish to attend the screening on the day of the festival, room and board are his or her responsibility
SUBMISSION DEADLINE

Deadline for submission of short films is peremptorily set no later than 12 September

MATERIALS TO BE SUBMITTED

Short films must be entered electronically via the FILMFREEWAY online platform by following all instructions and carefully reading the terms and costs.

SELECTION NOTICE

The titles of selected works will be posted on www.abboproduction.it by 26 September

REGOLAMENTO

La partecipazione al concorso implica l’accettazione del presente regolamento in tutti i suoi punti (pena esclusione dell’opera inviata):

1. Il mittente, inviando l'opera, dichiara di essere titolare di tutti i diritti di utilizzazione dell'opera stessa, nessuno escluso, e che i contenuti della stessa non violano le leggi vigenti e che l'opera non presenta contenuti a carattere diffamatorio. In ogni caso il mittente manleva l'organizzazione da ogni responsabilità per il contenuto del corto proiettato in pubblico.

2. Le opere inviate diventeranno parte integrante dell’archivio costituito per scopi didattico/divulgativi, utilizzabili per eventuali manifestazioni culturali (senza scopo di lucro).

3. Gli organizzatori del festival non sono responsabili per eventuali danni o smarrimenti delle opere inviate.

4. Il tema del cortometraggio è libero, tranne che per la sezione a tema “ambiente” e per la sezione “no alla violenza”.

5. E' accettato qualsiasi genere di cortometraggio: sono esclusi però videoclip, videoarte, documentari, corti erotici, corti pornografici.

6. Sono ammessi a partecipare esclusivamente gli autori che abbiano compiuto i 18 anni.

7. Sono ammesse a partecipare: le opere in lingua italiana e dialetti italiani con sottotitoli in lingua italiana e le opere in lingua straniera con sottotitoli in italiano.

8. Ogni opera potrà avere durata massima di 15’00’’ (15 minuti e 0 secondi, intendendo compresi i titoli di coda e i titoli di testa).

9. Saranno esclusi i corti non pervenuti nella modalità indicata

10. La partecipazione ha varie tariffe

11. Qualora il filmmaker voglia presenziare alla proiezione il giorno del festival, vitto e alloggio sono a suo carico

TERMINE DI PRESENTAZIONE

La data di scadenza per la presentazione dei cortometraggi è fissata perentoriamente entro e non oltre il 12 Settembre

MATERIALI DA INVIARE

I cortometraggi dovranno essere iscritti elettronicamente tramite la piattaforma on‐line FILMFREEWAY seguendo tutte le istruzioni e leggendo attentamente i termini e i costi.

INFORMATIVA PER L’AVVENUTA SELEZIONE

I titoli delle opere selezionate saranno pubblicati sul sito www.abboproduction.it entro il 26 Settembre 2025
