Director Statement

This is my first short film, shot on an iPhone 13pro for a Cinematography Class. It is an adaptation of a poem written by Gloria Vando (my mother) and was filmed in 2022 during the pandemic. I directed, edited and music supervised the film. As a singer/composer first, I added my vocals and instrumentation to the closing song Silent Night. This was a labor of love and a tribute to my mother and late stepfather, recognizing widowers on Holidays.
