We are seeking short promotional videos from 1-3 minutes in length of any genre or style that will be used to promote the upcoming 2017 Film Festival. It can be anything from a narrative, documentary, silent film to a montage of clips, animations, experimental, or purely motion graphics; the sky is the limit.
Any films not in English must have appropriate subtitles in English.
The winning trailer will be judged on its creative and technical merit, and its ability to pique public interest to come to our festival and support Asain Americans in film.

Please ensure that your submission is COMPLETELY filled out. Those who do not fill out their submission completely will be disqualified.
ELIGIBILITY
No limit on the number of entries per person. Entry fee applies to each project submitted.
ENTRY FORMATS
We accept digital files only, either via online links (youtube, vimeo, etc..) or a direct download link. If the project is not finished and is turned in by deadline, it will not be eligible to be screened.
EXHIBITION FORMATS
Entries chosen for the festival may be exhibited in the formats listed below. We are not responsible for lost or damaged entries...please ensure that they are packaged accordingly.
*A direct digital download file is preferred. DVD, Blu-ray's are also accepted*

• APA FILM does not pay rental or screening fees for submitted films. Instead, we choose to invest our resources in producing the best possible showcase for your work, and promoting your work as widely as possible.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
Winners will be announced on the DC Asian Pacific American Film website and social networks.

By submitting your entry to the Festival, you represent that you have the authority to do so and that you have reviewed all of the DC Asian Pacific American Film submission rules and information. You agree to hold DC Asian Pacific American Film harmless and without liability for the statements you make, and you assert that there are no assigned rights, agreements, distribution agreements, production deals or any arrangements whatsoever attached to this work that would in any way interfere with the showing or screening of your entry to the public within the terms of DC Asian Pacific American Film.
