A Night for Conversation
"A Night for Conversation" is the story of William and Julia, a young married couple who seem to have it all: a nice home, a good income and a beautiful daughter. But there is a dark and unhappy side to the family – and Julia soon finds herself trapped in an emotional and physically abusive relationship, fearing for her life.

Kade Mendelowitz is the Lighting Designer and Technical Director for the University of Alaska Fairbanks Department of Theatre & Film, where he is a Professor. Originally from New York, Kade has authored two cross-platform (Mac and Windows) multimedia titles which teach about theatre design while you control the pace. His titles are distributed through Stage Research, and are available through Amazon.com.
Kade holds an MFA in theatre design from Temple University (Philadelphia) and a BFA from SUNY New Paltz (New York). Kade grew up on the Lower East Side in New York, New York and attended the High School of Art & Design.
He has designed the set and lighting for KTVF‘s (Alaska NBC affiliate) news studio, lighting for the North Star Ballet Company (Nutcracker, Cinderella, Coppelia, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland…), Fairbanks Light Opera Theatre company (Secret Garden, Guys and Dolls, She Loves Me…), Fairbanks Drama Association (Pants on Fire, Barking Sharks…) and many productions at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (Cabaret, TUMA, The Laramie Project…).
Prior to "A Night for Conversation", he also produced “The Messenger“ – a feature length movie he wrote, directed and edited. He created, wrote and produced “Water Stealers“ – an interactive sci-fi video adventure which combines live actors, animation, and put the viewer in control (which won the Platinum: Best in Show Aurora Award for 2004). He wrote and directed an interactive “Alice in Wonderland” in which the audience followed Alice and the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole – accompanying them on their adventures!
