Director Statement

"I wanted to create an intimate, yet chilling story that encapsulated the internal struggle a mother experiences after the loss of a child.

As a first-time filmmaker and WOC, it dawned on me that there was a gap in the horror genre in capturing the real-life horrors of those in my community - but especially black women. I created this story to be that voice."
