ANTENAE
ANTENAE is a musical film documenting the encounter between a theorbist and a field recordist. Each equipped with their instruments, they explore a cistercian abbey and its surroundings during 2 days and 2 nights. Both the neck of the theorbo and the boom microphone become appendages with which to probe the area and converse with discrete forms of existence: waves, frequencies and ghosts. Gestures and visions intermingle for a last hallucinatory round of song. ANTENAE is the fanciful and sensitive testimony of two practitioners of sound and music, and how these phenomena traverse them.
