Anima - the feminine origin of the human soul. This is an interpretation of the psychological term, representing one of the primary parts of the unconscious mind. ANIMA aims to make viewers look beneath the surface of the problem of domestic violence and awaken something deeper than a base-level sympathy for the victims, thus provoking the need for public awareness and openness of the problem. An intertwining of the stories of three women gathering the courage to unwrap their experiences in front of a camera and express thoughts and emotions that many others would prefer to keep hidden.
