Why this story?
When I read James' story I empathized a lot with the character. I consider myself a very sentimental person and I believe that love is one of the most beautiful things you can experience as a human being. Being something beautiful and strong, I think it also has a danger factor, which can lead to despair and madness. James' love for Kim is a good example of this. We see how that strong feeling for her has plunged him into madness after her death. I like the ending of the story as it leaves room for imagination, some will say that James, at some point, will return to the real world thanks to his father's advice, and others will think that James will continue to live in his own world, in which Kim is still part of it.
