"An" is an android's history who uses technology to compensate her loneliness.

It's a metaphor of individualism and the need we have as humans to feel sexual sensory and social companionship. At the end, when she doesn't have this contact, she looks for a solution with technology support. Something very similar to the social disassociation that all of us have in this time of pandemic.

We are a society that manages to satisfy all kinds of needs, through the digital world, it doesn't sound crazy that at some point at the future the technological evolution will be possible to achieve the satisfaction of these sensory needs, without leaving home.

The problem of loneliness is that even with the best technology something can go wrong, and that will happen when no one is there to support you.
