A Most Curious Murder
How far would you go to acquit yourself of murder? As you walk through the dark corridors of the police station, you start thinking this might not have been such a good idea after all, but there is no turning back now. You need to figure out a way to access the computers, the computers that your friend is convinced houses the surveillance videos from the night of the murder. But is that enough? Your intuition tells you that there must be items from the murder scene somewhere in the police station that the police has somehow overlooked. Can you help the police solve the murder? And more importantly, who are you willing to sacrifice to walk free?

Neil studied architecture before making films. His first film 'A Sarajevo Diary’ was nominated for a BAFTA and won a BAFTA with his title sequence for Channel 4 TV. His most recent film 'Pirates of Somalia' has been on television and at festivals. He has made
several other documentaries and short films which have been shown at festivals around the world. He is now in pre-production for his first fiction feature 'The Assignment' and is working on an interactive documentary on migrants making the journey to Europe. He is also active in developing VR content including ‘Fortress Europe’ which has been shown at festivals around the world. He is also working on developing a board game which includes both AR and VR.
We at Impact Unified have been interested in developing serious games since the very beginning but we also wanted to explore the possibilities with VR. One of the projects we decided on was ‘A Most Curious Murder’ which involved a gaming aspect, live filming and also computer generated graphics. It was a challenge to say the least as we were exploring things which we had not tried before and also there were no previous examples we could refer to! We believe we achieved what we set out to do from the beginning with the project and the reviews so far have been very positive.
