Food crisis is one of the problems that's rarely discussed in Indonesia. Even in Indonesia was fulfilled by natural resources, that doesn't mean it is totally prevented from a food crisis. The 1963's food crisis in Gunung Kidul proves that the denizens could run out of comestibles. The impact was not only hunger, but also a loss of a job. A Man for a Land, illustrates how the farmer in Ponjong, Gunung Kidul creates his own comestibles in their own land or fields through Trisno Suwito's perspective.
