The Division of Arts and Machine Creativity at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (https://amc.hkust.edu.hk/) is thrilled to announce the 1st AMC AI Film Festival, hosted under Computational Visual Media 2025. Through this festival, we’d like to spark more discussions on AI's transformative impact on filmmaking. The past year has been marked by a surge in research breakthroughs such as SORA and Kling and in numerous filmmaking support tools, like Runway and Pika. We believe this festival serves as a hub for dialogue, driving the narrative on how AI is shaping and will shape the future of the cinematic landscape. We invite you to join this essential conversation at the upcoming AI film festival.
