AMAZONIA 2.0
Amazonia 2.0, the film, is a journey through the experience of the Amazonia 2.0 project, told through the testimonies of its protagonists, from local indigenous and rural perspectives, under the umbrella of national and regional efforts. The documentary rescues the legacy of the project in the people who were part of it; their communities, organizations, countries and region. It is an intimate essay that recognizes the human side of Amazonia 2.0 as one of its greatest strengths, which guarantees the continuity of what has been learned after 6 years of implementation.
Amazonia 2.0 is a project that ran from 2017 to 2023, funded by the European Union, coordinated by IUCN South America and implemented by a consortium of trained organizations in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru and Suriname.
